The fertile sea of Juan Fernandez Archipelago is an excellent place to enjoy sport fishing, being the main reason for many visitants to travel here, specially during the months of February, March and April.

Of course, the possibility to catch a good piece of fish, for example “vidriola”, is a great experience to remember. And if we add beautiful views and a fishing boat well equipped, you are ready to have a unique day.

Types of fishing

There are several ways of fishing that are practiced in Robinson Crusoe, and the most used are:

• Trolling or Drag Fishing: during which the boat in motion will allow lures and rapalas to look for your legendary piece: glass, saws, jurel de Juan Fernández, tunas, among others.
• Bottom fishing: Within this modality, the most effective in the Archipelago is the Jigging type, with which access to different depths in search of the piece.
